Harnessing the Free Power-Solar Power
Its a great thing to hear that one of the Gulf countries have initiated the process of harnessing Solar Power in their region. Solar energy is plenty in the Gulf region so,its the best solution to harness it as much as possible. A good initiative, shall we Indians learn from others?

FOOD FOR SURVIVAL
As all of u must have read/seen about global warming and climate changes worldwide .You must have also noticed the upcoming food shortage in this world itself. Its better to wakeup now than never. We should go towards our main occupation-Agriculture .No matter what degrees we have we shud take a U-turn to join the farmers to bring the AVAILABLE land into cultivation to increase food production so as to end its shortage and in the long run we can earn a good foriegn exchange. The only thing to keep in mind is better go for eco farming and protect the environment.

Nano - TATA's Pride, Problem for Nature
I agree that The TATAs have done a great job by putting most of the modern facilities available in the transport industry into their NANO. Ratan Tata will certainly realise his dreams. But think about the traffic jams and pollution which will create chaos everywhere if each lower middle class family aquires a car ?? In delhi I think the cheif minister would certainly float a few more tenders to construct Fly overs. Ask Tatas to make a ecofriendly car. And I know that If he THINKS Then HE CAN do it.

Plant fruitbearing trees during afforestation
It is important to plant fruit bearing trees to be planted during afforestation . But in certain regions where the atmosphere doesnot support such plants it should be avoided at the initial stage. Initially the plants which can survive harsh climate shud be planted . After these plants growup to 4-5 feet then the fruit bearing plants should be planted in between them. This will help the animals/birds living there to survive when that area becomes a jungle.

Carbon Credit- a Nonsense
Really its a non sense. How can those developed countries be allowed to purchase/claim credit the efforts of some other person living in the other corner of the world: while polluting the environment badly by themselves. This should be stopped .This is also a sort of BRIBERY.
We should wake against this and ask the developed countries to make efforts to protect the environment around there place itself. One will have to lose something to get some thing. After all we are protecting the environment for the survival of mankind .We should collectively protect it .Environment is a international issue.Think over it .

Clean Yamuna
Delhi a Historic city with a Historic River -YAMUNA which has noticed many up-downs of famous Emperors/ Rulers of India. The river which was very useful for the people in those days is now totally neglected by the people/Government.In fact the Government had spent crores of rupees( it wud be right to say that politicians pocketed crores) towards protecting Yamuna -but of no use-Its more polluted now.
I wonder why people do not think of water now.Without food one can survive for days but without water its not possible for a single day. Jal hi jeevan hai
